Nefarious LinkedIn: Extension

Find out which extensions LinkedIn is searching your browser for.

I have created an open source extension to easily identify which extensions LinkedIn is scanning your browser for. The extension is simple to use. Simply install the extension and click the target icon to display which extensions LinkedIn is searching your browser for.

Note, the extension may not work in incognito mode or if you have never logged in LinkedIn before. I recommend logging into LinkedIn before using the extension.

The latest extension release has a few new features and improvements:

  • The extension now works from any tab.
  • The ability to download the hidden LinkedIn extension file in its original form.
  • The ability to export a CSV of the parsed extension file.

Check out the related links below for access to the extension's source code and related blog posts.
